P/R Command Master Chief Petty Officer
BRANDON A. PORTHOUSE
Pershing Rifles Command Master Chief Petty Officer Brandon Porthouse was inducted into the National Society of Pershing Rifles in the Spring of 2006. He is plankowner of company E-16 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. From March 2006 – March 2007 P/R Command Senior Chief Porthouse served as the Command Master Chief (CMC) for company E-16 as well as the Administration and Personnel Officer (S1) for the 4th Regimental Brigade. In March 2007 P/R CMDCM Porthouse assumed command as the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Pershing Rifles.
P/R CMDCM Porthouse is currently assigned to Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where his is earning his Bachelors of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering. He currently serves as the Battalion Master Chief Petty Officer. His aspiration is to be a career naval aviator.
P/R CMDCM Porthouse is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a 2005 Honor graduate of the International Baccalaureate Program at Pensacola High School. His awards and decorations include: the Military Order of World Wars Bronze Medal, the American Legion General Military Excellence Medal, the All-Around Performance Ribbon (2 awards), as well as various personal and unit awards.
